Otto and The Mutapa Calling will be performing live at Elementary Festival in Oxfordshire this summer. We will also lead an mbira workshop, and a combined marimba, dance and drumming workshop.
Bedford African Community & ACCM UK proudly presents Festival Africa at The Harpur Suite in Harpur Square for an afternoon of traditional songs, drums and dance; storytelling for adults; an African fashion parade; African food and drink stalls; and quizzes and awards. Mu presents live music every night performed by a rotation of residents and guests. Each night there are two performances, one at around 7:30pm and another at around 9pm. Both performances are approximately 45 - 60 mins long. If you book a table you will catch at least one of the performances. Booking is recommended but the venue also welcomes walk-ins.

Picnic in the Park is the traditional start to the Festival week. It’s a chance for the community to get together in the beautiful surroundings of Hillworth Park.
There will be top quality music, stalls and a bar. You can also buy snacks, ice-creams and hot drinks from the café on the park. Bring your friends and a picnic, and join us for the perfect Sunday afternoon.
Please follow guidelines given to you by our Festival Makers to ensure this event is safe for everyone.
